About

Building a new school in Ghana. Breaking the cycle of poverty through generational change.
Here at Bury Grammar School, our current fundraising initiative aims to provide children based in the small remote village of Parkrow Junction in the Eastern Region of Ghana, the chance to break the cycle of poverty through education. We would like to contribute towards the construction of a Junior High School, in partnership with the Ghana Education Service.
The high school will help to transform entire communities for generations to come – breaking the cycle of poverty, improving health outcomes, reducing child labour and early marriage, promoting gender equality, and supporting sustainable development. Together, we can create a brighter future for these children and their communities by supporting the charity Village by Village.
